Problems and Solutions

The problems you may have while using the scanner often

involve the operation of your software and computer. Problems

fall in the following major categories:

Incorrect setup of the interface

Inappropriate selection of the scanner functions

Incorrect setup of your computer or software

Incorrect operation of your software.

computer, and printer for possible solutions.

Note:

if you need to reset your scanner, use the RESETbutton under the

DIP-switch cover.

The

READY

light does not come on.

Make sure the scanner is correctly connected to the computer

and that the computer is turned on.

Make sure the power cable is correctly plugged into the scanner

and the power outlet.
