Installing the ribbon cartridge

Before installing the ribbon cartridge, make sure that the power

cord is not plugged into an electrical outlet.

To install the ribbon cartridge, remove it from its packaging and

then follow these steps:

1. Open the printer cover by gently lifting up the notch on its

left side.

Warning:

Never move the print head while the printer is turned on;

this can damage the printer. Also, if you just used the

printer, the print head may be hot. Let it cool for a few

minutes before touching it.
