WARNING and CAUTION labels are stuck on dan

erous parts in the
printer to make you aware of the potential dan

ers that are present
when you are workin

with those parts.

The laser beam used in this printer is invisible and it has a narrower
frequency band and more coherent phases than any other li
g
ht
(sunli
g
ht, electric li
g
ht). It has excellent monochromaticity and
conver
g
ence. A thin laser beam reaches lon
g
distances. Because of its
conver
g
ence characteristic, the laser beam conver
g
es into one point,
causin
g
hi
g
h density and hi
g
h temperature. A laser beam is harmful to
the human body.
W ARNING
Do not expose yourself to the laser beam to prevent
injury (blindness).
Do not open the cover that has the laser beam
warning label.
If you disassemble or assemble the printer, turn off
the power.
If you need to work on the printer with power applied,
strictly follow the instructions in this manual.
Understand how the laser beam functions and take
maximum precautions not to injure yourself or anyone
around you.
