5-34 Disassembly, Assembly, and Adjustment Rev. A
The following is the installation procedure:
1. Install {lever-N.E. detector} on {holder-N.E. detector}.
CAUTION:
The two {lever-N.E. detector} dowels break easily. Take care when performing the
above step.
After installation, check for smooth operation of {lever-N.E. detector}. If operation is not
smooth, remove {lever-N.E. detector} and re-install it.
2. Align the single dowel and install {microswitch D2A-1120} on {holder-N.E. detector}.
3. Secure {microswitch D2A-1120} in place with the single {CBB-tite M2x8} screw.
CAUTION:
Tighten this screw with the specified torque of 0.176 N·m {1.8 Kg·cm}. Overtightening
this screw can deform {microswitch D2A-1120} and result in printer malfunction.
